Following changes to the College of Veterinarians of BC’s (‘the College’) Fee Schedule that were approved August 2025 by registrant vote, there are important changes to the requirements for Retired registrants to maintain their Retired registration status with the College.  (for more information about the bylaw vote, please see the published notice 2025 Bylaw Vote on Fees.

Effective for the 2027 registration year, individuals holding Retired registration will be required to: 

• Renew their registration annually; and 

• Pay an annual registration fee of $300 plus GST. 

Please note: If no action is taken regarding your registration before the end of the first business day in January 2027, your registration will be cancelled for failure to renew.
