Cancellation and Pathways back to Registration

The following table addresses reinstatement options for individuals whose registration is cancelled for failing to renew their registration by the annual registration renewal deadline.  If your registration was terminated for any other reason, please see the discussion under Question 4 of Maintaining Registration.

As required by the CVBC bylaws, the Registrar must refer your application to the Registration Committee

The only path back to registration is through a new application for registration, as though for a new applicant.

 As required by the CVBC bylaws, the Registrar must refer your application to the Registration Committee 

a. Applications for Reinstatement:  

In applicable situations (see table above), this involves: 

  1. Submission of a reinstatement application form and payment of Application for Reinstatement Fee ($300 + GST)
  2. Payment of the annual registration fee
  3. Payment of the registration reinstatement fee (25% of the annual registration fee), and
  4. Payment of any other unpaid monies owed to the College. 


The Registrar may reinstate your registration provided that you are not otherwise in contravention of the Act, regulations or bylaws. 
 

The Registrar may refer the application for reinstatement to the Registration Committee to determine whether or not you meet the above requirements for reinstatement of your registration.
