The mandate of the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC) is to regulate the delivery of veterinary medicine in the province of British Columbia to ensure the pubic and animals are served by a competent and ethical profession. This is achieved by setting and enforcing standards of veterinary practice and conduct which includes registration of veterinarians to practice in BC, addressing conduct or competency concerns, and accrediting practice facilities.
If your concern is not in relation to the practice of veterinary medicine, please refer to Contacts for the Public which may be able to assist you.
For more information on how owners and veterinarians can work together to protect the health and welfare of animals, please see this Best Care Poster.
