Pursuant to sections 89(3)(a) & (b) and 41(2)(e) & (f) of the Veterinarians Act, S.B.C. 2010, c. 15 (the 'Act'), the CVBC is mandated to include, in its online registry of registrants and former registrants whose registration has been cancelled for less than one year, a record of all disciplinary actions, if any, taken in respect of the individual, and the reasons for the action, along with a notation of all cancellations and suspensions, if any, of the individual's registration, taken not more than 5 years prior to September 15, 2010.
Pursuant to section 89(3) of the Act, Council has limited discretion to direct the registrar to withhold or remove such information from the online registry.
The following is a summary of the decisions of the CVBC resulting in disciplinary actions, cancellations or suspensions issued by the BCVMA / CVBC after September 15, 2005.

Section 68 of the Veterinarians Act requires the Investigation Committee (IC) or the Discipline Committee (DC) to direct the Registrar to give public notice on the CVBC website of all Remedial Actions by Consent (RAC) and Consent Orders (CO) by posting the name of the registrant, along with the description of the action taken along with the reasons for the action taken.
